Jay Farrar
Jay Farrar is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist best known for his work with the alt-country band Uncle Tupelo. After the band's breakup in 1994, Farrar formed Son Volt, which has released a string of critically acclaimed albums. Farrar's music is characterized by its introspective lyrics, atmospheric soundscapes, and blend of country, folk, and rock influences. He has also collaborated with other notable musicians, including Will Oldham, Jim James, and Anders Parker.
