Of Mice & Men is an American metalcore band from Orange County, California, that has consistently been at the forefront of their genre since their formation in 2009. The group was initially formed by former Attack Attack! vocalist Austin Carlile and bassist Jaxin Hall during a period of burgeoning creativity in the metalcore scene. Known for their potent blend of crushing riffs, soaring melodies, and emotive lyrics, Of Mice & Men quickly established themselves with their self-titled debut album in 2010 and have since released several albums to critical and commercial success.
Throughout their career, the lineup of Of Mice & Men has undergone changes, with Carlile leaving the band due to health issues in 2016, and bassist Aaron Pauley taking over lead vocal duties. Their sound has evolved over the years, but they've continued to deliver a high-energy, aggressive approach to metalcore. With recent releases such as "EARTHANDSKY" and "Echo," the latter including tracks like "Obsolete" and "Timeless," the band has showcased their continued relevance and ability to craft powerful music that resonates with fans. Their Deluxe version of "Echo" and the stand-alone singles such as "Mosaic" and "Fighting Gravity" remain testimony to the band's enduring appeal and their ambition to explore and expand their musical horizons within the heavy music genre.
