C.A.R. is an experimental electronic music project from Berlin, Germany. The project is the brainchild of musician and producer Carsten Nicolai, who is also known for his work with the group Raster-Noton. C.A.R.'s music is characterized by its use of abstract sounds, drones, and field recordings. The project has released a number of albums and EPs on labels such as Raster-Noton, Touch, and Warp Records.
