We Came Out Like Tigers

We Came Out Like Tigers was a four-piece band from Liverpool, UK, formed in 2008. They were known for their blend of genres, including screamo, post-black metal, and post-rock. The band members worked collaboratively on their music, often starting with guitar structures and developing their ideas through discussions outside of practice sessions. We Came Out Like Tigers released several notable albums, including "Ever-Crushed At Pecket's Well" in 2014. The band disbanded in 2014, partly due to bassist Ollie's new job, which limited his ability to tour—a crucial aspect of the band's identity.

During their active years, We Came Out Like Tigers toured extensively, including performances in the UK and Europe, and they played at festivals like Fluff. The band members valued their collaborative approach and the emotional impact of their music over technical complexity. After the band's breakup, some members went on to start new projects, such as Simon Parr's involvement with the band Dawn Ray'd.
