Robin Gibb was a British singer, songwriter, and record producer who rose to fame as a member of the Bee Gees, a pop group he formed with his brothers Barry and Maurice. Born on December 22, 1949, in Douglas, Isle of Man, Robin was known for his distinctive falsetto voice and his songwriting contributions to the Bee Gees' numerous hits, including "Stayin' Alive," "How Deep Is Your Love," and "Night Fever." He also had a successful solo career, releasing several albums and singles, including "Saved by the Bell" and "Juliet." Robin Gibb passed away on May 20, 2012, at the age of 62, after a long battle with cancer.
