Steve Hackett
Steve Hackett is a renowned and innovative rock guitarist best known for his work with the progressive rock band Genesis in the 1970s. He was part of Genesis' classic lineup alongside Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Tony Banks, and Mike Rutherford. After leaving Genesis in 1977, Hackett embarked on a prolific solo career that has spanned over four decades.
Throughout his solo work, Hackett has explored a wide range of musical styles, incorporating influences from classical, jazz, world music, and blues into his compositions. He's known for his versatility on both electric and acoustic guitars, and for pioneering techniques like tapping. Hackett continues to tour and release new music, with recent albums including "The Circus and the Nightwhale" set for release in February 2024.
