Harald Bjørkøy is a celebrated Norwegian tenor hailing from Trondheim, born on January 16, 1953. He launched his professional singing career in 1982 and has since performed extensively across Europe and the United States. One of the highlights of his career was his debut at the prestigious Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City in 1991. Alongside his active concert career, Bjørkøy has collaborated with many of Norway's top symphony orchestras and taken on leading roles at the Norwegian Opera. In addition to his performance work, he is also a dedicated educator, serving as a professor of music at the Grieg Academy at the University of Bergen.
