Lonely Crowd

Lonely Crowd is a Norwegian/British psychedelic rock band that has been making music since 1995. The band was formed by singer Stig Jakobsen, who left the band Vampire State Building to create Lonely Crowd with former members of De Press and Holy Toy. Initially signed to Mega Records, they released three EPs, one of which, *Jesus In The Pub*, became a radio hit in Norway. The band later moved to London and set up a studio there. Over the years, Lonely Crowd has undergone lineup changes, incorporating musicians like Marius Gengenbach and an English rhythm section. They eventually signed a two-album deal with Karisma Records and have released several notable works, including *Watching From A Distance* (2007) and *The Not-So-Great Britain* (2012). Their music has charted in Norway, with singles like "Aren't You Forgetting Something?" and "She's Not Afraid" achieving success.

Lonely Crowd is known for their eclectic psychedelic sound, which has resonated with audiences in both Norway and the UK. Their music often features collaborations with other artists, such as the Norwegian rapper Vinni on "In the Eyes of the World." The band's diverse influences and energetic performances have marked them as a unique presence in the psychedelic rock scene.
