Jim Guthrie

Jim Guthrie is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for his atmospheric and introspective folk music. Born in 1963 in California, Guthrie began playing guitar at a young age and later studied music at the University of California, Berkeley. His music often incorporates elements of ambient, electronic, and experimental sounds, creating a unique and ethereal listening experience. Guthrie has released numerous albums and EPs throughout his career, including "Now, More Than Ever" (2003), "Summertime Songs" (2006), and "Below" (2018). He has also collaborated with artists such as Will Oldham, Mark Kozelek, and Yo La Tengo.
