The Dirtbombs

The Dirtbombs are a garage rock band from Detroit, Michigan, led by Mick Collins, who previously fronted the influential Gories. Formed in the mid-'90s, the band is known for their unique blend of garage rock, punk, and soul, often featuring a dual-drummer and dual-bassist lineup that gives their sound a heavy, driving energy. Over the years, they've released a diverse array of albums, including *Ultraglide in Black*, a tribute to classic R&B and soul tunes, and *Party Store*, which reinterprets Detroit techno classics in a rock format. Their raw, infectious energy and deep Detroit roots have earned them a dedicated following in the garage rock revival scene.
