Godes Yrre

Godes Yrre is a one-man industrial/death/doom/gothic metal project founded by Abel Oliva. Originally born in 1994 as a side-project while Oliva was part of the Cuban band Sectarium, Godes Yrre was reborn in Switzerland in 2017. The project has evolved from industrial doom to incorporate elements of ethnic, classical, stoner, and gothic music. Notable releases include »Inside The Whale« (2017), »Ghost Warriors« (2018), »Das Nichts« (2020), and »Symphony Of Termination« (2021), which featured orchestral arrangements of previous works. Godes Yrre is known for its studio-focused approach, with no live performances, and continues to explore new sounds with guest musicians in recent releases.

Recent endeavors include a trilogy of EPs released in 2024, which will be compiled into an album titled »Feelings Can Burn You« in 2025. This new direction emphasizes stoner and gothic elements while maintaining the project's dark and avant-garde essence.
