D+

D+ is an indie rock band from Anacortes, Washington, formed in 1996 by Bret Lunsford, Karl Blau, and Phil Elverum. The band is known for its minimalist, ramshackle sound and Lunsford's distinctive vocals and witty wordplay. Their discography includes several albums, such as *Dandelion Seeds*, *Deception Pass*, *What Is Doubt For?*, and *On Purpose*, which features hits, rarities, and live cuts. D+ has been associated with the K Records label, a prominent part of the indie music scene in the Pacific Northwest.

The band's style and contributions to the indie rock genre reflect the DIY ethos and creative experimentation that characterized the music scene in Anacortes during the late 1990s and early 2000s. With a focus on lyrical depth and musical simplicity, D+ has carved out a unique niche in the indie rock landscape.
