Stay the Course

Stay the Course is a pop punk and emo/alternative band that originated as a solo studio project by vocalist Joseph Meador in the summer of 2015. Over time, the band evolved into a full-fledged group, with Joseph teaming up with guitarist Mike Twietmeyer in 2017 to produce their debut full-length album, *Hello Wichicago*, released in 2018. The lineup has seen changes, with members like Colby on guitar and vocals, Jeremy on bass and vocals, and Alonso on drums joining the band. Known for their hard-edged vocals and driving guitar sections, Stay the Course has shared the stage with notable acts like Rookie of the Year and Youth Fountain. The band has released several singles, including *Mirrors*, *Knife Fight*, and *Fountain of Youth*, and has been actively touring and recording new music.

In recent years, Stay the Course continued to build momentum, releasing singles like *Booing and Hissing* and *I-35*, and embarking on extensive tours across multiple states. In 2024, they took a break from touring to focus on writing and recording their next album. In March 2025, they officially signed with Punkerton Records, with plans to release a new album titled *RED FLAG* later that year.
