Liquid

**Liquid** is a British dance act known for their energetic and eclectic sound. Formed by Eamon Downes (a.k.a. Ame) and initially including Shane Heneghan (a.k.a. DJ Model), Liquid burst onto the scene in 1991 with their iconic track "Sweet Harmony," which blended house music with breakbeats. This was followed by the "Future Music" EP, featuring "Liquid Is Liquid," a dark and atmospheric breakbeat dub classic. After Heneghan's departure, Liquid continued to produce innovative dancefloor fillers, such as "Time to Get Up" and "One Love Family," both of which were praised by *Mixmag*. Their music has been described as "sophisticated, soulful techno" by the *NME*, and they have achieved significant commercial success with top 40 singles in the UK and European hits.

Liquid has maintained a strong presence in the music scene over the years, performing live internationally and releasing a variety of albums and singles. Recent releases include *Lethal*, *Spacemonkey*, and *Energy Flows*, showcasing their continued creativity and versatility in electronic music.
