Braulio, full name Braulio Antonio García Bautista, is a Spanish singer-songwriter from the Canary Islands, known for his romantic ballads and orchestral pop sound. He began his musical journey in 1971 with the song "Mi amigo el pastor" performed at a local festival, and gained wider recognition after participating multiple times in the Benidorm International Song Festival throughout the 1970s and early 1980s. Over his career, Braulio has released more than a dozen albums, earning five gold records and one platinum record, and was even nominated for a Grammy. After spending time in the United States recording theme songs for popular Latin American soap operas, he returned to live in the Canaries in 2002. His music continues to resonate with audiences in Spain, Europe, and Latin America.
