Carla Casarim is a talented Brazilian singer, composer, and music educator. She graduated in music from the Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL) and has built a solid career in the MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) genre. Carla has shared the stage with renowned artists like Carminho, Elba Ramalho, and Carlinhos Brown. She was a semifinalist on the Brazilian version of "The Voice" in 2014 and is currently the vocalist for the forró band Bicho de Pé. Her music has taken her to various countries, including France, Norway, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Italy, and the United States. In 2020, she released her first authorial album, "Terra Mãe," which was supported by the PROMIC and PROAC initiatives. The album's opening track, "Brasil Geral," gained significant attention with over 800,000 plays on digital platforms.
Carla continues to expand her musical horizons. In 2022, she participated in the samba album "Pagode Black Tie," which was nominated for a Latin Grammy. She is preparing to release a new album titled "Amor, Amor" in 2023, focusing on diverse forms of love. Additionally, she is working on a children's MPB project called "As aventuras de peixinho Nuni," set to debut in various spaces in São Paulo.
