Würth Philharmoniker is a dynamic orchestra founded in 2017 by Reinhold Würth, an Austrian-German industrialist and passionate lover of classical music. Würth wanted to share his passion and give back to his home region of Hohenlohe, making the orchestra an integral part of the cultural activities linked to the Würth Group. The ensemble offers a diverse repertoire ranging from classical masterpieces to contemporary pieces, including works by Astor Piazzolla and Philip Glass, as well as commissioned new compositions. They serve as the orchestra in residence at the Carmen Würth Forum, enriching the cultural life not only locally but also through touring performances, including a notable UK and Ireland tour in their inaugural season. Their concerts have attracted sold-out audiences, featuring star soloists like Anna Netrebko and Rolando Villazón, marking Würth Philharmoniker as a rising force in the classical music scene.
