Los Voceros de Cristo

There are two distinct groups referred to as "Los Voceros de Cristo," each with different origins and histories.

One group, **Los Voceros de Cristo from Argentina**, was founded by three brothers—Juan, Pedro, and Marcos López—in the 1960s in a small town in Buenos Aires. They began by combining their love for music with their Christian faith, initially performing in local churches and community events. Over time, they gained popularity across Argentina and eventually expanded their reach internationally, becoming a significant influence in Latin American Christian music.

Another group, **Los Voceros de Cristo from Colombia**, was founded in Bogotá in 1972 by Alvaro Gómez and Eduardo Silva. This duo became influential in contemporary Christian music in Spanish-speaking countries, known for their unique style and theological lyrics. They expanded their reach to Venezuela and other parts of Central America, Mexico, and the United States. The group continued with Alvaro Gómez Jr. after the original duo parted ways, releasing notable albums like "Yo Vi Su Gloria" and celebrating their 30th anniversary with a commemorative album.
