Nunzio Gallo

Nunzio Gallo was an Italian singer and one of the most important Neapolitan song interpreters of the 20th century. Born in Naples, Italy, on March 25, 1928, he rose to fame in the 1950s and '60s with hits like "Scapricciatiello" and "Quattro mura." Gallo was known for his powerful vocals and his ability to blend genres, effortlessly moving from Neapolitan music to Italian pop and other styles.

Throughout his long and prolific career, Nunzio Gallo recorded numerous albums, participated in various music festivals, including the famous Festival di Sanremo, and appeared in several film and television productions. He passed away on February 22, 2008, leaving a lasting legacy in Italian popular music.
