Stereo Nation is a British pop band formed in 1996, led by the charismatic Tarsame Singh Saini, also known as Taz. Born on May 23, 1967, in Coventry, UK, Taz is a singer, composer, and actor of Indian descent. He is credited with pioneering cross-cultural Asian fusion music. Before forming Stereo Nation, Taz was known as Johnny Zee and released several successful albums, including "Hit the Deck" in 1989. With Stereo Nation, he achieved significant success with albums like "I’ve Been Waiting," "Jambo," and "Slave II Fusion," which featured hits like "Pyar Ho Gaya" and "Nachenge Saari Raat." Taz's music often blends traditional Punjabi vocals with Western pop sounds, resonating with second-generation Asians in the UK.

Stereo Nation's music career spans multiple decades, with Taz also contributing to Bollywood films and exploring Western mainstream music. His albums, such as "Taz-Mania" and "Spirits of Rhythm," showcase his versatility and ability to evolve his sound over time.
