Mehrshad Khanj is an Iranian music producer, composer, arranger, and mix engineer known for blending traditional Eastern music with modern Western sounds. He began his musical journey in 2005 by playing guitar and piano, and later honed his skills at the Art of Sound Institute. Throughout his career, Mehrshad has worked with numerous Iranian artists, handling music production, arrangement, mixing, and mastering for various projects. His work extends into film music, having contributed to several Iranian films between 2018 and 2020. Recently, he composed music for the short film *Sweet Night*, which won awards at the Pigeon Island Awards in Iceland.
Mehrshad's musical output includes a range of releases such as *Cosmic Crash*, *Zendeepia*, *Middle Eastern Eyes**, and more. He also co-founded the *Lofi Vision* project with his brother Mehrad Khanj, focusing on instrumental, ambient, and lofi music that combines traditional and modern styles. This innovative approach has garnered attention for its unique soundscapes and relaxing compositions, available on platforms like YouTube. His recent albums and collaborations showcase his signature blend of cultural influences in contemporary settings.
