Bacterial Husk

Bacterial Husk is a death/thrash metal band hailing from Boston, Massachusetts. Formed in 2015, the group has been making waves in the local metal scene with their unique blend of death metal influences, drawing inspiration from acts like Gorguts, Carcass, Death, and Malevolent Creation. The band's current lineup consists of Evan Duplessis on vocals and guitar, Joey Adams on guitar, John Lattuca on bass, and Nick Lazzaro on drums and vocals.

After releasing their EP "Agnosia of Omens" in 2016, Bacterial Husk recently dropped their debut full-length album "Anthropogenic Ruin" in 2023. The album showcases their evolving sound, which the band describes as moving beyond simple death thrash into more diverse musical territories, including brutal elements, d-beat grooves, and progressive touches. Despite facing challenges like lineup changes and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Bacterial Husk has persevered, continuing to contribute to the Boston metal scene and looking forward to more shows and possibly touring in the near future.
