O-Town is an American boy band formed from the first season of the MTV-produced reality television series "Making the Band" in 2000. Named after Orlando, Florida, where the show was based, the group enjoyed initial success with their debut self-titled album, which included hit singles like "Liquid Dreams" and the chart-topping "All or Nothing." The original lineup consisted of Ashley Parker Angel, Erik-Michael Estrada, Trevor Penick, Jacob Underwood, and Dan Miller, who were chosen from a competitive field of young performers by impresario Lou Pearlman.
After their initial burst onto the music scene, O-Town experienced the typical ups and downs of a pop ensemble and eventually disbanded in 2003. However, their story didn't end there. In 2014, the band, minus Ashley Parker Angel, made a comeback with their album "Lines & Circles." Maintaining momentum, they continued their resurgence with subsequent releases including "Part 1" (a collection of singles), "The O.T.W.N Album," which reflects a matured sound and approach to music, and most recently, "Hello World," which saw them collaborating with Bachelor Nation's Colton Underwood. Despite the changing music landscape, O-Town has managed to maintain a devoted fan base and an active touring schedule, showcasing their longevity and ability to adapt and evolve within the industry.
