Rodrigo Escalante

Rodrigo Escalante is a Chilean-born, Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist, singer, and composer known for his captivating blend of Latin American folk, psychedelic soundscapes, and introspective lyrics. He first gained recognition as one half of the duo Salt & Straw, exploring a more electronic, downtempo sound. Since going solo, Escalante has embraced a more acoustic and organic approach, often incorporating traditional Latin American instruments like the charango and cuatro into his work.
