Mel Bryant & the Mercy Makers are a four-piece indie rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. Formed in 2015, the band consists of Mel Bryant (vocals, guitar), Jake Vest (guitar), Matt Patton (bass), and Matt Martin (drums). Their music is a blend of classic rock, folk, and Americana, with catchy melodies and introspective lyrics. Their debut album, "Mel Bryant & the Mercy Makers," was released in 2017 and was met with critical acclaim. Since then, they have released several more albums and EPs, including "Never Thought" (2020) and "Memphis" (2022). The band has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with artists such as The Lumineers, The Head and the Heart, and Brandi Carlile.
