Born on January 31, 1969, he developed a passion for music early in life, influenced by his parents, with his father being a guitarist and violinist from Surinam. Stay-C's musical journey began with drumming and singing, leading him to study instruments like guitar and keyboards. He became known for his work in the hip-hop and dance genres, eventually joining the group Twenty 4 Seven, where he performed alongside Nance and later Stella. After his time with Twenty 4 Seven, Stay-C pursued a solo career, releasing singles such as "Wham Bam!" and "Summer Holiday." His music often blends elements of hip-hop, dance, and pop, reflecting his diverse musical background and influences.
