Blackface Naija, born Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, is a Nigerian dancehall, ragga, and reggae singer-songwriter. He rose to fame as a founding member of the influential band Plantashun Boiz, alongside 2Baba and Faze. The group released successful albums like "Body and Soul" in 2000 and "Sold Out" in 2003 before disbanding in 2004. Blackface is also known for co-writing the hit song "African Queen" with 2Baba. After the band's breakup, he pursued a solo career, releasing albums such as "Ghetto Child," "Evergreen," and "Dancehall Business." His music often addresses social issues and reflects his role as a social crusader. Recently, he has released singles like "Can't Flow," "Elanaka," "Extraordinary Love," and "Stop the Killings," showcasing his continued creativity and activism in music.
