Paulinho Moska

Paulinho Moska, often just called Moska, is a Brazilian singer-songwriter, guitarist, and actor known for his poetic lyrics and eclectic blend of musical styles, including MPB (Música Popular Brasileira), pop, rock, and samba. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he began his artistic journey as part of the band Garganta Profunda and later the pop-rock group Inimigos do Rei in the 1980s before launching a solo career in the early 1990s.

Moska’s solo work is marked by thoughtful, introspective songwriting and a strong connection to Brazilian cultural and musical traditions. Over the years, he has collaborated with respected artists like Zeca Baleiro, Nando Reis, and Maria Bethânia, and has also gained recognition for his work as a television host with the series "Zoombido," where he interviews and performs with other musicians. His music continues to resonate with fans who appreciate both lyrical depth and melodic richness.
