U2 is an Irish rock band, formed in 1976 in Dublin. Its members consist of Bono (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), the Edge (lead guitar, keyboards, and backing vocals), Adam Clayton (bass guitar), and Larry Mullen Jr. (drums and percussion). The band started with a post-punk edge but soon grew to incorporate influences from many genres of popular music. In 2022, they celebrated the 30th anniversary of "Achtung Baby" with a special edition release. U2 remains culturally relevant, contributing "Your Song Saved My Life" to the animated feature film "Sing 2."
