CJ Bolland

CJ Bolland is a Belgian electronic music producer and DJ, known for his pioneering influence in the techno and rave scenes of the early 1990s. He first gained attention with a string of hard-hitting releases on the influential R&S Records label, including underground classics like "Horsepower," "Camargue" (with fellow producer Tom Middleton under the alias Pulse), and "Sugar Is Sweeter," which later found crossover success with a remix by Armand Van Helden. His 1995 album The Analogue Theatre showcased a more diverse sound, blending techno, breaks, and electro.

Over the years, CJ Bolland has remained a respected figure in electronic music, with a style that spans techno, acid, and progressive sounds. He continues to release fresh material and remixes, staying true to his underground roots while pushing boundaries with each new release. Whether performing live or in the studio, his productions are marked by driving rhythms, raw energy, and a deep respect for the dancefloor.
