London After Midnight

London After Midnight, often abbreviated as LAM, is a Gothic rock band that was formed in the early 1990s by singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sean Brennan. Known for its signature blend of dark and melodious goth rock, post-punk, and alternative music, the band has garnered a dedicated following in the goth subculture and alternative scenes across the globe. Brennan, the creative force behind the band, is known for his distinctive vocal style and poetic lyrics touching on socio-political issues, romance, and the human condition.

Over the years, London After Midnight has released a series of albums and EPs that have helped cement their status in the dark alternative music world. Their 1992 debut release, "Selected Scenes from the End of the World," set the foundation for their cult status, and it was later revisited with a deluxe edition in 2019 named "Selected Scenes from the End of the World: 9119." The subsequent albums "Psycho Magnet" (1996) and "Violent Acts of Beauty" (2007) continued to evolve their sound with lush, atmospheric soundscapes and emotionally charged performances. The collection "Oddities" (1998) and its sequel "Oddities Too" (2021) showcase rarities and live performances, offering fans a deeper look into the band's artistic versatility. More recently, London After Midnight responded to the global pandemic with "Live From Isolation" in 2021, a release that encapsulates the band’s ability to connect with audiences even amidst widespread social distancing.
