Kreayshawn

Kreayshawn, born Natassia Gail Zolot on September 24, 1989, in San Francisco, California, is an American rapper, music video director, and multimedia artist known for her eclectic style and internet savvy. She first rose to fame with the viral hit "Gucci Gucci" in 2011. The single garnered millions of views on YouTube and propelled Kreayshawn into the spotlight, resulting in a record deal with Columbia Records. Her distinctive approach blends elements of hip-hop with modern electronic beats and a rebellious aesthetic drawn from her experiences growing up in East Oakland.

Although her debut studio album, "Somethin 'Bout Kreay," released in 2012, didn't meet the same level of success as her viral single, it showcased Kreayshawn's unique sound, incorporating a variety of genres and themes ranging from party anthems to more personal reflections on her life. Despite a somewhat turbulent career with fluctuations in popularity, Kreayshawn has remained a cultural force, continually releasing tracks such as "CYBER THUG OR WHUT?" and "World's Biggest Idiot" that showcase her evolution as an artist who isn't afraid to push boundaries or reinvent her music. Beyond her artistry, she has also made a name for herself as a director, having worked on music videos for other artists, and is often appreciated for her unapologetic and authentic approach to her craft.
