Adolph Green

Adolph Green was an acclaimed American lyricist, playwright, and performer best known for his long and successful creative partnership with Betty Comden. Together, they formed one of Broadway and Hollywood's most iconic writing duos, creating clever, witty lyrics and scripts for beloved musicals and films. Some of their standout work includes the Broadway classic On the Town and the screenplay for Singin’ in the Rain, considered one of the greatest movie musicals of all time.
