Pierre Dac was a French humorist, comedian, and writer who was hugely popular in France during the mid-20th century. Born André Isaac in 1893, he adopted the stage name Pierre Dac and became known for his witty wordplay and absurdist humor. Dac was a pioneer of French radio comedy and famously co-created the surreal radio series "Signé Furax" with Francis Blanche, which ran from 1956 to 1960. During World War II, he was part of the French Resistance and broadcast humorous anti-Nazi messages on Radio London.
