Roger Williams

Roger Williams was an American pianist known for his dazzling performances and virtuosic style. He rose to fame in the 1950s with his hit rendition of "Autumn Leaves," which became the only piano instrumental to reach #1 on the Billboard charts. Williams was a regular on television, especially on "The Ed Sullivan Show," where he showcased his incredible talent and crowd-pleasing personality. His career spanned several decades, during which he released numerous albums and became known as "The Pianist to the Presidents," having performed for nine U.S. presidents at the White House.
