Strange Advance

Strange Advance was a Canadian new wave band formed in Vancouver, British Columbia in the early 1980s. The band was founded by Drew Arnott and Darryl Kromm. Their music featured Arnott's poetic lyrics and soaring vocals, which were often compared to artists like Peter Gabriel and Bryan Ferry.

Strange Advance gained significant momentum in the Canadian music scene with their first album, "Worlds Away," and the single of the same name. They went on to release several more albums throughout the 1980s and 1990s, and maintained a loyal fan base despite not achieving mainstream success in the US.
