Fantini's work, particularly his 1638 treatise "Modo per imparare a sonare di Tromba," introduced a new style of trumpet playing that helped integrate the instrument into classical music. His compositions include various sonatas and dances, showcasing his mastery of Baroque music. Fantini passed away on May 6, 1675, in Florence, Italy.
