Peter Dreams

Peter Dreams is the solo project of Peter Dreimanis, best known as the gritty-voiced frontman and co-founder of the Juno Award-winning rock band July Talk. Launching his solo career during a break from touring with July Talk, Dreimanis teamed up with Toronto-based collaborators MOONRIIVR to create a raw and intimate sound described as a "post-punk psychic cold plunge." Their debut album, *Peter Dreams and MOONRIIVR*, released in February 2025, features tracks like "Do Like I Do," "Come Save Me," and "Keep Me Free," which showcase a fresh sonic direction while maintaining Dreimanis’s distinctive vocal style.

In addition to his music career, 2025 also marked Dreimanis’s acting debut in Ryan Coogler’s film *Sinners*. Peter Dreams has quickly captivated audiences with live performances that emphasize emotional depth and vulnerability, earning a devoted following distinct from but connected to his work with July Talk. His solo work explores personal themes with honesty and a compelling, atmospheric sound.
