Popol Ace
Popol Ace was a Norwegian progressive rock band formed in 1969. The band's original lineup consisted of vocalist and guitarist Jahn Teigen, bassist Pål Thowsen, drummer Thor Andreassen, and keyboardist Arne Schulze. Popol Ace released their debut album, "Popol Ace," in 1970, and followed it up with a string of successful albums throughout the 1970s, including "Curly Sounds" (1973), "Stolen From Time" (1974), and "All We Have is the Past" (1975). The band's music was characterized by its complex arrangements, soaring vocals, and virtuosic musicianship. Popol Ace disbanded in 1978, but reunited in 1994 and continued to perform and record until 2010.
