Roman Fediurko is a talented young pianist from Kyiv, Ukraine, born in 2004, who kicked off his musical journey at just age 5 under the guidance of Professor Halyna Kotsyuba at Kyiv's Children's Music School No. 21. A total prodigy, he's racked up an incredible string of first prizes at top international competitions, like the Yamaha USASU in Tempe (2023), Robert Schumann in Düsseldorf (2023), and the Vladimir Horowitz in Geneva where he snagged the gold medal too—all before turning 19.
These days, Roman's wowing crowds on world-class stages from Paris's Salle Cortot to Geneva's Victoria Hall, and he's soloed with heavy-hitter orchestras like the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and Ukraine's National Symphony, backed by conductors such as Kirill Karabits. Now studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz with Milana Chernyavska, he's dropped gems like his recent *Kullak: Piano Works* album and the duo record *Kaleidoscope* with his brother Oleksandr.
