Dagmar Bittner

Dagmar Bittner is a German actress, voice actress, and speaker born on January 12, 1981, in Nürnberg, Germany. After completing her Magister Artium degree in Archaeology and Education Science, she initially worked as a publishing editor before embarking on a freelance career as a voice artist and actress in 2010. Since then, she has lent her voice to over 300 audiobooks and an equal number of radio plays, becoming well-known for narrating popular series such as Disney's "Violetta" and books by authors like Erin Watt and Rebecca Yarros. Her work includes acclaimed projects like the audiobook "Im Gefängnis – ein Kinderhörbuch über das Leben hinter Gittern," which was longlisted for the German Audiobook Prize in 2019, and her reading of "Strangeworlds 2 – Die Reise ans Ende der Welt," which won third place in the 2022 Children's Audiobook Audience Award. In 2023, she won the Lovelybooks Community Award for best audiobook with "Fourth Wing," which was also the most-listened audiobook on the streaming platform Bookbeat that year.
