Goat the Head

Goat the Head is a Norwegian metal band formed in 2002 by vocalist/organist Per Spjøtvold and guitarist Ketil L. Sæther. The band is known for their unique style, often described as "Contemporary Primal Caveman Death Metal," which blends elements of spontaneity and groove into their music. The current lineup includes drummer Kenneth Kapstad and bassist Trond Frønes. Goat the Head has released several albums, including "Neander Tales," "Doppelgängers," and more recently, "The Call of Ixodes" and "Et Lokalsamfunn i Sorg." Their music often features experimental and eclectic elements, such as incorporating jazz vocals in tracks like "This Tube is the Gospel."
