Speaker Eater is a post-hardcore band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2015, the band consists of vocalist/guitarist Alex Garcia, guitarist/vocalist Adam Vida, bassist/vocalist Chris Daly, and drummer/vocalist Matt Kocian. Speaker Eater's music is characterized by its heavy, distorted guitars, aggressive vocals, and complex song structures. The band has released two EPs, "Ships Out of Water" (2016) and "Lords" (2018), as well as a self-titled full-length album in 2020. Speaker Eater has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as Converge, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and Touché Amoré.
