A Filetta is a Corsican polyphonic singing group founded in 1978. The group's name comes from the Corsican word for "fern," a plant that symbolizes strength and resilience. A Filetta's music is rooted in the traditional polyphonic singing of Corsica, but the group also incorporates elements of contemporary music and other genres. The group has performed all over the world and has released numerous albums, including "I balconi," "Requiem - Di Corsica Riposu - Requiem Pour Deux Regards," and "Danse Mémoire, Danse."
