Ali Ostovar

Ali Ostovar, also known as Alireza Ostovar, is a talented artist based in Berlin who brings a unique blend of Iranian musical traditions and contemporary electronic sounds to life. Born in Tehran in 1987, he started his musical journey studying piano at the Conservatory of Tehran before delving into the world of electronic music. His educational pursuits took him to the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome, where he focused on electronic composition and later completed a master's degree in Integrative Composition at Folkwang University of the Arts in Germany.

As a co-founder of the TEMBER Ensemble, Ostovar is not only a composer but also a live-electronics performer known for his innovative real-time sound processing. His work often addresses transcultural themes, fusing traditional Iranian elements with modern electronic music. Having collaborated with renowned artists such as Marina Abramović, Ostovar's performances and compositions have been showcased at various prestigious festivals and events around the world, making him a prominent figure in the contemporary music scene. Through releases like *Reflections* and *Times of the Day*, he continues to explore the intersections of memory, identity, and sound.
