Narsilion

Narsilion is a Barcelona-based neoclassical and neofolk musical project that finds inspiration in the ethereal and fairy-like corners of the mythical realms. Formed in 2003 by musicians Sergio Gamez Martinez and Sathorys Elenorth, the project draws its name from J.R.R. Tolkien's fiction, where "Narsilion" refers to the Song of the Sun and Moon. Their music offers a fusion of medieval and fantasy elements, combining ethereal vocals with classical instrumentation like violins, flutes, and percussions, creating an otherworldly soundscape that often transports listeners to realms of the fantastical and the enchanting.

Over the years, Narsilion has gained recognition within the neofolk and neoclassical circles for their rich, melodic compositions infused with the themes of nature, dreams, and ancient lore. The release of "Nerbeleth" marked a high point in their career, featuring a blend of haunting melodies and evocative atmospheres, which they celebrated with a special 20th Anniversary Edition. With albums like "Elenna Nórë," "Namárië," "Arcadia," and "Nerbeleth" in their discography, Narsilion has carved out a distinct niche in the music world, enchanting a loyal following with their luscious soundscapes and the timeless quality of their music.
