Arcane Roots

Arcane Roots was a dynamic alternative rock trio from Kingston upon Thames, England, renowned for a sound that seamlessly fused heavy rock, experimental and electronic components. Formed in 2006, the group consisted of Andrew Groves (vocals, guitar), Adam Burton (bass), and Jack Wrench (drums) throughout most of their spellbinding musical journey. Their intricate sonic tapestries were characterized by sweeping melodies, complex rhythms, and a propensity to infuse a raw energy into their meticulously crafted songs.

The band's evolution from their early days can be heard throughout their releases, with their 2012 debut album "Blood & Chemistry" earning them critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base. Over the years, Arcane Roots continued to push their own musical boundaries, with refined and ambitious presentations in works like their "Heaven & Earth - EP" and the ethereal yet thunderous full-length "Melancholia Hymns" in 2017. Although they announced their disbandment in 2018, the trio left a resounding legacy with fans and within the rock music community, with "Landslide" being among their final releases, showcasing their signature blend of passionate vocals and soaring instrumentals that made Arcane Roots a truly memorable force in British rock.
