Luca Sapio is an Italian singer-songwriter and record producer known as the "Italian soul ambassador," blending nostalgic 60s and 70s soul with Italian musical heritage. Born in Rome in 1975, he overcame a challenging childhood battling an aggressive spinal disease and later built a career that spans jazz, rhythm and blues, and classic soul. His collaborations include legendary artists like Tony Scott, Eumir Deodato, and Juliette Lewis, and his solo work features acclaimed albums such as *Who Knows* (2012) and *Everyday Is Gonna Be The Day* (2014), both produced by Thomas Brenneck and noted for charting in Italy, Germany, and France.
Aside from his solo career, Luca founded the record label Blind Faith Records and established a recording studio in Rome, fostering a collective called the Italian Royal Family. He has toured extensively across Europe and appeared on major TV shows, sharing stages with Paul Weller, Sharon Jones, and Trombone Shorty, among others. Luca is also a music journalist and hosts the radio show "Latitudine Soul" on Italian national radio. His recent album *Black Waves* (2025) continues his exploration of soul’s emotional depth, mixing vintage influences with contemporary sensibility.
