Scritti Politti is a British post-punk band formed in Leeds in 1977. The band's original lineup consisted of Green Gartside (vocals, guitar), Nial Jinks (bass), Tom Morley (guitar), and Fred Maher (drums). Scritti Politti's music is characterized by its eclectic mix of genres, including post-punk, funk, soul, and pop. The band's lyrics often explore themes of love, loss, and social commentary.
