Nazxul is a black metal band from the United States, formed in 2012. The band's name is inspired by the Nazgûl, the Ringwraiths from J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings." Nazxul's music is characterized by its dark, atmospheric sound, with a focus on melody and atmosphere. The band has released three full-length albums, "Irkalla" (2014), "Black Seed" (2017), and "Totem" (2020), as well as several EPs and singles. Nazxul has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as Mayhem, Watain, and Marduk.
